Raine Hill (March 15, 1966 - ) was born and raised near the coast of South Carolina, lived in Nashville, Tennessee
for five years and now resides in Tampa, Florida. She shares her life and home
with Cal, her husband of nearly nine years and several rescued animals: a Colombian red tail boa (Hekate), a baby corn snake (Dagon) and a chihuahua (Vidar).
Both Raine and Cal are Pisceans and creative children of
the water. (Cal is a musician/singer/songwriter while Raine's passion is writing). Raine has been a writer at heart since childhood, having her first poem published in a children’s magazine at the tender age of seven. In 1996 she penned
two children's books which are registered with the Library
of Congress. Now that she has found a subject that truly
makes a difference, Raine has devoted herself to ensuring
that children of Pagan/Wiccan homes have the same
advantage children of other religions have had for
generations: having access to books based on the religion
in which they are being raised.
For this couple, discovering, practicing and walking the path
of Wicca together seems as natural as the Earth around
them. After studying within a very traditional coven structure
for a period of time, they became solitaires studying on their own. Both are now initiated in their own eclectic tradition of Wicca/Witchcraft. They now consider themselves a coven of two but continue to learn and grow within the Wiccan community. Continuing the journey on their path, they attend workshops to learn from others while studying and practicing their craft. They also enjoy celebrating the sabbats with a
large, family-oriented community Grove of like-minded
Pagans. The couple are both legally ordained and able to officiate at legal Wiccan weddings, handfastings, Wiccanings and other rites of passage.
